in slang form (What's pimpin?) it can me whats up... how are you... what are you doing....
If you mean Pimpin like (someone is pimpin girls) it means they are having them solicite themselves and in return he manages their money (or basically takes it all) in exchange for buying them clothes, sometimes giving them a place to live. some pimps beat their girls, others dont, some solicite run-aways and girls under 18. Some try to find girls with low self esteem.

Pimpin is the act of being a pimp - somewhere along the way, that term lost it's negative meaning, so now you got 10 year old boys thinking it's cool to be a pimp.
