If you are a full-figured lesbian, it might be a little hard to find a mate... depending on your location, what you want in a mate, and what you are looking for?

Because often people can be shallow when it comes to looks. But if you think about it, does the full-figured woman really want someone that shallow? It's true, looks fade over time, but inner beauty remains.
I look at this in two ways. 1. People should be proud of themselves and not worry about what others think of their looks. 2. However, if the full-figured person is overweight (as opposed to just being big-boned), then he/she should also try to lose some weight for the sake of his/her health. But do it 'coz you want to be healthy, not because you hate the way you look and not because someone else does not like the way you look. Do it for you and your own benefits!
And the full-figured woman needs to get out with friends and meet people and have fun. The more she does and learns, the more interesting she becomes. Also, the more people she meets, the more chance she has of finding someone who's not so shallow and will appreciate her personality as much or more than her full figure.

I know this sounds crazy but I think it has something to do with location. I mean yeah there are guys that prefer thicker girls everywhere but I find that in the South and midwest...big girls are popular.
How do I know?? Im a thick girl myself...as in 5'2 wear a size 14 (yeah I said it!!!lol) I found that whill eliving in NY the men there were more into the stick thin video girl look....while in Chicago, Atlanta, the Carolinas, and Virginia.....the men are more open to bigger girls.
A lot of the guys in the midwest and south say they commonly associate a bigger girl to be less superficial, able to cook (obviously a plus for most men), and will most likely be a great mother.

Because some people in this world are shallow. People should love themselves because your the one person you can count on for unconditional love. My best friend is a big girl and she used to wonder if she will ever find someone to love her for who she is, and now she has a boyfriend. If people want to put you down, don't listen to them, they are just sad egotistic losers who have nothing better to do. Guys and Girls need to stop worrying about their looks all the time and focus on whats inside, because thats where true beauty counts. I hope this helps :)

Because theres plenty of magazines saying to look thin, and even in Hollywood if a actress gains weight there going to make sure its a big deal until she drops it so years of this means people want other thin people like in other cultures a fat/full figured women is the most wanted and a thin women is seen as someone dying.

define full figured personaly I dont like twigs but Idont want a blob that wants to sit on the couch with her ice cream lol plus beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I personally like curvy but relitivly fit the type of gal that wants to go on hikes and enjoy life..
I hate to say it but those of you saying people are shallow that isnt true.....I am not petite I am 5'8 and proportionate meaning within the american standards of weight for my height. I wouldnt want to be with someone who couldnt keep up with me because they are so over weight that they arnt motivated there are alot of people who realy dont take pride in themselves, dont take effort to look nice and dont do anything about their weight even when it is affecting their health

For one stop looking and let them find you . it is like when you loss something you can find it but when you stop looking and do something else it is right there. And big girls are in. We keep you cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
