It depends on what your job is. If you're supposed to be running a machine or taking care of sick people, then you should be doing that and staying off the computer. However, if your job is to be available to answer the phone or you're there as security, then being on the computer keeps you alert, and it's totally okay.

I don't want to sound like an old nag but your boss isn'tpaying you to be on yahoo answers while you are on the job. Therefore he \she probably won't be too happy about it when he\she ultimately finds out...Computers have memory doncha know...
