Period pains is very bad.

Before I got married I used to have severe period pains. The first day my mother would say that I look like a woman who has just given birth. I was so bad.

First thing I would do is go to the toilet, stay there for 5-10 mins until I feel a little better, put a fresh pad and then come out. Second, I always drink A hot drink to calm the pain and sometimes I would take panadol with the drink. Sometimes I would just throw away.

Once I remember I woke you to see my brother as he was going on training, I just passed out against the door. He lift me up and put me one the bed. From that day I was really scared to fainting.

Doctor says you need to go for a walk, eat well such as fish, take a shower not too hot and not too cold, just warm. Have a hot drink.

Tablets would help you in some severe cases as well. Doctor says that birth control pill helps as well, but this all depend on individual as it did not work for me, instead I was bleeding. One thing that has really help me is intercourse, it has reduced my pain. sometimes I do not feel any thing.

But a lot of rest on the first day is recommended. Women are always moody when they have their period. If you know yourself and try some of the tips I gave you, I believe you would be a lot calmer. Good luck.

Same thing happened to me when I was younger. I used to throw up and faint, the whole kit and caboodle. Doctor put me on the contraceptive pill to regulate periods and ease up the pain. No problems since, this was 5 years ago.

i think the best thing to do is go see your GP who will be able to prescribe something for you.....i also think that an appointment with a gynecologist would be helpful, most women get cramps and pains which are sore but bearable and easily cured with a couple of painkillers and a hotwater bottle......iburofen in the mean time might help as this is an anti-inflammatory and reduces the inflammation in that area which relieves the pains you might be experiencing.

hope this helps.

Hot water bottle on the lower abdomen. Midol & other pain meds. Massage the area plus lower back. Exercises for the lower back muscles. Ask a doctor for more help! The doctor may prescribe low-dose birth control pills, for example.

I used to get really bad period pains and I went to see my doctor and she recommended that I should go on the pill and start exercising more regularly. I found that this worked for me, but if I were you I'd go and have a word with your doctor and see what he / she says

You cannot exactly eliminate period pains. But you sound as though you need to see your GP for a check up because this could be part of a larger problem. Do not be embarrassed as your GP sees hundreds of girls everymonth with period problems.

Because of how bad they are this needs to be evaluated by a doctor to see what they think could be causing the problem.
