Hello,

(ANS) I think one night stands are OK! in some situations because they can satisfy a certain sexual need i.e. lust perhaps? And provided that both people know its just going to be a one night experience and that no deeper longer lasting promises have been made and that neither person has any illusions about the event.

**I think one night stands can be an OK experience, can be even quite exciting and can even be positive.

**But the down side of one night stands is they can be very sleazy, sad and empty and rather desperate too.

**The risks for STD or pregnancy, etc are very real too.

**My opinion is that one nights stands are OK but are never going to be as positive or enriching an experience as making love with someone your deeply in love with. Or have a longer deeper commitment to.

**They do have there place in the overall scheme of life the universe and everything I guess.

I had a one night stand with Mr Kitty down the road. Now he just strolls by me with his tail in the air like he doesn't know me

As a semi-pro musician, they're very handy for making a few quid on the side, whereas if you're doing a regular gig, you'll get collared for tax and insurance !-

Most nights I cant hardly stand, up that is. Why do you look angry? They are ok depending on where you are in your life and in your head and what your immediate wants are. just have to be care full is the main thing and coyote syndrome sucks.

Horrible. It shows the laziness of the two people involved, because they don't want a relationship, because that is something they will have to work at. They want a "quick fix", which usually ends up badly for anyone involved.

I think if two consenting adults want to pass the hours away with each other it's a good thing!

When somebody decides it's a way of life I think they are missing out on life.

As long as both people are just out for fun then I see no harm in them whatsoever.

It's not such a good idea. You might regret it someday. Plus it's dangerous if you don't know the guy.
