Is it possible to melt glass at a high enough temperature that it turns back into sand?

No. Sand is formed by erosion. Melting glass wouldn't recreate those circumstances. You could try grinding up the glass, but it still wouldn't quite be sand since you wouldn't have the variety of minerals in the environment that are combined with the glass in sand.

NO- because glass isnt just sand its lime, soda and ash
