I can't get to sleep! I feel sick to my stomach, and it is 3:50 AM. For the past 4 hours I have flipped and flopped in my bed, so then I went into my dad's bed and see if I could go to sleep, but I couldn't! My mommom (it means grandmom if ya'll didn't know that) is sleeping in the living room, so I can't watch TV or anything. My puppy is sleeping in his crib (yes, my freaking puppy has a crib) and I'm not allowed to take him out until morning. My other dog is sleeping in my dad's room, and I'm not allowed to let her out until my dad wakes up. She's old anyways and always sleeps. What can I do to get to sleep? What can I do OTHER than sleep? I have a breathing test tomorrow for my scoliosis thingy, but I'm not worried about that at all. I've had a million of these things. Please help. Thanks.

I've already read every book in the house. (Not now, but previously.) I can't get to the kitchen because my mommom is sleeping in the living room, which is right next to the kitchen. I'm in the den.

I find music to be very relaxing to me and sometimes what I do if I have a hard time sleeping is find a CD I like that I know can help me relax. If you have a portable CD player with headphones that could be of help. Also, warm milk (if not allergic to milk of course) has been helpful to me sometimes when I can't sleep.

Listening to slow music helps for me. Sometimes even playing a dvd I would fall asleep. Especially watching friends reruns.

Warm milk and microwave a towel for 20 seconds and put it under your sheet at the small of your back.

Try reading, writing, or listening to music, Don't let yourself get upset, try to stay relaxed. One thing that helps me is I put some mellow music on soft and listen to that.
