I have tried the online scan at a few places and in most cases, it just finds the lesser / widely known viruses but not the newer and smart breed of virii.....Its better to use a Good AV software like Avast or AVG, which are free along with Spyware softwares like Spybot Search and Destroy and AVG AntiSpyware...Update the programs regularly to keep ur PC free of Spywayre and Virii. Scan the full system by going into Safe mode and also make sure to backup ur important data before its too late to recover if ur Windows files were corrupted or affected by the Virus...
Hope this helps....

Trend Micro is one of the best antivirus solutions leading the market today. Its house calls will scan, find and then take appropriate action based on the anti virus definition available as of that time. It will either clean it if not quarantine it or in case of failure it deletes the file unless you configure it otherwise.

Stay away from Norton and McAffee. They used to be good, but their latest virus scanners are crap. Use Pandasoft to do virus scans. They even have a free online version available (it scans for viruses, but doesn't delete them).
