Caution...dont read if youre easily offended
I am in the process of losing weight so I think that has something to do with it, and ive lost about 20 pounds so far but now my period isnt on time (due on the 26th but no PMS)and i am blood clotting some stringy ones and the tampon isnt soaking up the blood, but the clot just sticks to the tampon, its really weird. my doctor said my ovaries and stuff was normal. Does anyone have any idea what could be going on with me. This has been going on for about a week now. Im sorry to be so graphic.... accept my apology

Congratulations on your weight loss!! I'm not a doctor, but yours did say all was ok with your female parts. That's good news for you. I would wait for the next period and see how it goes for you (is the clotting heavier and longer lasting, different color, painful, etc.). If it's about the same I wouldn't worry about it. If it changes considerably, please don't hesitate to see a gynocologist and get a complete workup. Your weight loss could be the culprit. Good luck to you!

It may have to due with a loss of nutrients to your body. While your losing weight make sure to eat healthy foods to replenish vitamins and minerals or take vitamins.
Also may happen if you are stressed out about something.
Also could possibly be your pregnant?
I would like to know if you are taking any weight loss pills, because if you are that might be effecting you!
I wouldn't worry to much about it, if it keeps getting worse than I would get it checked out with your gynecologist

I've never had this before but it doesn't sound normal to me. I would recommend consulting a gynecologist if you haven't already to see what they think.
