I was born when F.D.R. was president also. Things were less expensive but the wages were low also. I worked for $0.90 an hour for my first job at that was a good wage. And yes, I'm old too.

Nixon was US president when I was born (1971), Ted Heath was the UK's Prime minister. Intel introduced the 4004 which was the worlds first microprocessor. Britain adopted decimal currency. Idi Amin overthrw Ugandan President, Milton Obote.

I'm not so sure about FDR, but my grandpa would go back to the time of Calvin Coolidge. He isnt here though.
