97 izusu rodeo has constant squeal after timing belt, water pump and all belts being replaced what could be the cause. It sounds pretty bad.

If the water pump has been replaced I would suspect either the alternator, the belt tensioner, or the A/C compressor. It's usually one of the first two and not the later, but check all three. It's an izusu so my guess is the alternator barring is worn out. Generally, In my experience, the power steering pump will not squeal unless it's ran low on fluid. The barring in the power steering pumps are usually submerged in the power steering fluid. I could be wrong but I'd check the tensioner and alternator first. Also check any idler wheels.

Are the belts the proper tension? Have you stuck your head under the hood while the engine is running to figure out where the noise is coming from? (Be very careful not to hurt yourself while doing this.) If it's still a belt making the noise and it has the proper amount of tension, then get a bar of soap. While the vehicle is on, apply the soap to a pulley the squeaking belt is on. This should get rid of the noise. If it destroys your car and kills you or your cat, I am in no way responsible...Do all of this at your own risk.

If the timing belt is slipping the car wouldn't run. Chances are it's either the one that drives the AC or power steering unit.

Make sure there's no oil on them they're the right size and properly tensioned.

I'm really sorry to here that you had to change so many parts without any result. my car developed such a problem and finally it was traced to guide pulley bearing. try to locate sound
by keeping the hood open and listening from all sides. if in doubt you can take out the suspected belt and run engine - very short time if it is alternator.
best of luck.

You either have a belt that is too loose and slipping or a belt that is too tight and overloading a bearing, depending on the pitch of the squeal.

I would agree that the PS pump is a likely suspect. Either that or a belt tensioner pulley.

When the timing belt was replaced did they check the tensioner and idler as well they have been known to make noise. i reccomend heading to your local parts store and getting a stethescope to try and isolate where the noise is resonating from. belt pulleys as well as dirts on belts have been known to make noises.

There is the power steering pump that could be doing it.

If it is when you are turning it could be the power sterring belt.
