According to J.K. Rowling, one the characters who has previously shown no magical ability would perform magic. I finished the book but I must have missed this part because I didn't see anyone do it. Also, if you could give me a page number in addition to a name that would be fantastic so I could go back and read it for myself.

I've noticed in other Harry Potter questions that some people are just clicking in to rant and rave about how stupid Harry Potter is. Since this is a violation of community guidlines I will happily report such answers as abuse. I mean, why do you click the question if you think its stupid?

It was Harry's wand

Ollivander said that wands are not what creates the magic, its just what the Wizard/Witch uses to control the magic. They can for instance control their magic through a carrot if they wished.

This part is where Harry's wand of no accord shoots out magic at VOldemort breaking Lucius's wand where Dumbledore later explains why this happened

All the folks who guessed Petunia would be fallacious. Jk mentioned it used to be no longer her. Or did she deny yet another rumor approximately Petunia? w/e. I'm am typically the fallacious one... I consider it maybe Dudley, or Mrs. Figg. (she's a squibb, in order that way she is a witch however she are not able to do magic.) Why the hell might it's Crookshanks? Chrookshanks is a cat!

I just finished reading the book for the second time and I don't recall anyone like that. Maybe she just meant that Nevil would get better at magic? I didn't read anything that J.K. Rowling or anyone else said about the book before I cold actually read it so I don't know whether Rowling actually said that.

Harry Potter was an orphan who lived with his cruel relatives, the Dursleys, initially kept in ignorance of his magical heritage — the Dursleys despise his "unnaturalness".
Later on he used magic
