I literally do not have one single blood relative left, and to all intensive purposes, I am the last of my line. I am now 84 years old, and the last survivor of a large family. Being the "youngest" in a family, is not really cracked up to what people may think. Sometimes in the twilight of the evening, the friendly ghosts from the past come to visit me. There is a parade which includes My Wife; My Mom and Dad and my three sisters, all of whom are locked in my heart and in my minds eye. I can conjure up any or all of them at will, and they are as real as real can be. It is when I try to hug any of them or touch them that they disappear. But I can feel their love and warmth. It is a strange feeling, and I am grateful that I can "visit" with those whom I love almost at will. Make of it what you want , it is all true.

Yes, and that is what they mean by how they have touched your life. It seems simple enough, but we seem to take for granted that are friends and family while they are alive. Never thinking some day they will die and leave us. When they do is when we realize how important they are in our lives. The saddest part is they are not around for us to tell them. So when I get up in the mornings now, to everyone of my friends I let know what they mean to me. So when they leave they will know how much they touched my life and heart. It will get better with time. Remember the good times. Good Luck.

Tears came to my eyes as I feel the warmth of my Precious Mother who died 27 yrs. ago. I have kept her picture near my favorite chair & here in front of the computer all these years. Going on without her was harder than I could ever have imagined.Thank you for refreshing my sweet memories. I have many others in my heart that are now gone, but Mother was always there for me & I did need her.
God bless you and your "Tears of Pain". I'll pray for you !!!
My sweet hubby will be 81 tomorrow. I am 76~~jill

All the time... and right now it is really getting to me. I think it is because I contacted him. I shouldn't have done that. Now I regret it! Ugh!
