I know this sounds stupid but are people in australia more relationship oriented than americans?

I'm an Aussie, but wouldn't know if we are all more relationship oriented than the Americans. My guess is that you will find all different kinds of people with all different ideas on relationships and such where ever you go, so you really can't generalize.

I'm American orignially ... but Australian now. I agree with the others that pointed out that, no matter where you go ... there are all kinds of people and mixtures of ideas. You can't generalize. I have to admit thought that when I first moved here, Australia appeared to me to be much more old-fashioned family oriented than American .. and unfortunately, that's been changing over the years :(

look i think that we might be, but the population of the whole of australia is tiny compared to america, so that may just seem like it....
it comes down to the individual....the majority of people i know want to settle into a relationship or are in one....

Im Australian.
There are heaps of losers in Australia, and heaps of nice people too. Its just the same as anywhere else in the world.
Differs from person to person.
I wonder what I am... romantic? loser?? who knows

It doesn't really matter which Country you go to, I think. Percentage-wise you find that there are roughly the same Gay, Lesbian or Heterosexual Relationships in any Country. You normally find that Gay and Lesbian Cultures are only attracted to their own kind.

I've met many Aussie guys who are jocks. Heck, even more then American, English, and Canadian guys.
