Or can it be all of the above?

I have a temp. rise today so I ovulated yesterday. Yesterday night my hubby and I "tried". A few hours later I went to the washroom (sorry) and wiped 2 streaks of blood with EWCM. I know it's ovulation spotting but I'd really like to know about when ovulation actually happened.

I've been TTC for 3+ years and have done a lot of research. Here's what I have come to understand. Ovulatory spotting occurs during ovulation when estrogen levels drop suddenly, causing blood vessels in the uterus to release small amounts of blood. Estrogen is high right before ovulation and dips when the egg is released and then within a matter of hours Progesterone starts to be secreeted in high amounts. But during the couple of hours or so that the estrogen is low and progesterone is just starting to climb a little blood may be released. So, the spotting should occur immediately after ovulation, but for some women it will take a few hours before they see the spotting on their panties or when wiping. So, by the time you see the spotting you have already ovulated. But EWCM mixed with blood is still considered extremely fertile so it's a good time to BD.

in specific circumstances a splash brownish discharge can ensue throughout the time of ovulation. i could relatively take all the EWCM you have seen as a outstanding sign which you're ovulating. The month hubby and that i conceived I have been given numerous EWCM around ovulation time to boot, which by no skill relatively ever befell to me, fairly as quickly as i became on the clomid. We Bd'd away and have been given what we could been desperately hoping for!!!! i individually desire you and hubby get the christmas miracle you have been attempting see you later for. you relatively deserve it! better of success and many infant dirt your way!!

Usually a woman does not spot when she is ovulating. If your body temp went up then you probably did ovulate yesterday. A woman may bleed at implantation, but that is a rare occurrence, most women won't.
