I've often asked myself the same question and can't come up with an answer.
I have nothing against overweight people. I'm one myself.
But do us all a favor, cover that sh!t up.
Not just the women, men too.

I have a perfect belly...and I say this even though I have stetch marks. i've had two children ffs it's natural. I've given life, used my body to do what the female body is supposed to do! Do you really think the women of yesteryear gave a toss about it? No because unlike us, they didn't have the media telling them what to think. To cover them up would give the impression I'm ashamed of them. They're my babies first footprints, a reminder of a really special time in my life. If it's a hot day then like hell I'm going to wear a tent on the off chance I annoy some stranger who I'll never see again! Why do women buy into all this crap???!! It's natural! Probably the same women who have botox, trying desperately to stop the inevitable swallow this tripe! This is what the body does, we're human beings not magazine covers. Live ffs!

I have a divided view on this question....For me personally, if my belly were flabby and fat, no I would never show it off. However, far be it from me to give a crap if another woman wants to, if she feels she is sexy, I don't see the harm in her doing whatever she wants to do.
As far as stretch marks go, I have a couple comments to make....Most women who have children have stretch marks, maybe some more than others, but a lot of women with kids have them. Even though I lost all the weight and got back into shape after having my daughter, there is no getting rid of the stretch marks from the way your skin stretches while carrying a child. I know a lot of men find this repulsive, but I say those are not real men then....A real man appreciates the beauty of motherhood, and the woman who has born children. Your mother did it to have you, and I guarantee you left your mark on her body as well. I, like many other women, occasionally bemoan how much I miss my pre-pregnancy stomach, but I wouldn't trade my daughter for anything in this world, let alone trade having her just to take back the stretch marks so I wouldn't offend someone like you. Like I said before, real men appreciate mothers and what they go through to have children, and don't go around belittling what they look like after they have children.
Why you would think there should be indecency laws against this sort of thing is beyond me..Do you think you are perfect? Do you think everyone finds you attractive? Cause I guarantee they don't, but why should you be restricted from what you want to wear or how you want to look just because some stranger may find you unappealing? This is why we live in America, we have the freedom to look and dress how we want to, and thank God for all the other freedoms we have.

Yes I have noticed the same phenomena. But It makes the other girls / ladies look so so much more attractive that's when you can get a fleeting glimpse at one through all that big fat *** on the footpath. It's getting more and more rare to spot a woman with a nice rear, but don't give up they are there but you must put in a little more effort you really have to be on the ball to spot them and they are a fleeting joy to behold, You can beat an egg and you can beat a drum but you cant beat a woman's bottom. (proper proportions goes without saying)

Now lets restore the balance, there are a fair quantity of men who feel no shame in showing off there naked flesh.
I don't find it attractive from either sex, but being quite shy, naturally am also stunned by their lack of inhibition.
I'm afraid you're just going to have to learn to look else where for I can't see a law working against the blobbies.

lamo. I think that is gross too I don't understand why some women do that. I just got back from vacation in Florida and unfortunately I saw this in abundance. Women with flabby tummys and stretch marks wearing belly and skin tight shirts.

I have no idea. I'm not fat, but I do have stretch marks due to having twins. I can promise you that it is not something I like to show off - even in the privacy of my own home.

Probably for the same reason that men with matchstick legs and huge beer bellies insist on revealing themselves in shorts as soon as the sun shines. Because they want to and they can.

i am a large woman and there is NO way on earth that i would dress like that. it infuriates me to see big people dress inappropiately for their size. I feel like going up to them and telling them to "cover it up" (had my rant 4 the day goin 4 a cofee see ya)

Large women who do this sort of thing make me sick. They have obviously been having their friends tell them that they look great, whilst they laugh behind their backs. Big is beautiful? NO it isn't. It's nasty. They should cover up and have some decency. Personally I think that they think it will pull men because out there there are men who like an extra slice.
