I've just had a few questions deleted from yesterday and I had to lodge an official complaint with YA. Maybe some of you has done it before, but I felt that I had to bring my point across, since Amajahoeza seems to struggle to get off the ground.
This was my complaint:

When one complains to yahoo,all one gets is a mail from a lady called Karin that says that they are looking into it.

I do not believe that the questions are deleted because a word/words/sentence was used that was not in English. I have spent a lot of time on the 'English' forum and found MANY questions written in a foreign language without being deleted.
I believe that there are members that reported you. YA will not automatically delete your question unless someone has brought their attention to it.
We are tolerated here in the first place by YA because this is a forum that should deal with TRAVEL!
These people that report others...drive the SA people away from the SA Travel forum ->to the English worldwide forum....taking away the chances of a SA forum ever to be considered or on the agenda.
Typical for us -we tend to slice our own throats!

Thank you very much for bringing this issue up and trying to make a difference. I back you 100%. This has been something that bothered me for a long time. I have lodged a similar suggestion last year, but it got deleted after a couple of days without any replies.

Like any big site the chances are slim to have any result in the end, while your stuff continues to get smacked! Guess one of the privileges of being on here!

Good. I had been trying to post a suggestion but always get an error page. I support you on this, but would prefer that an SA chapter be created, instead!!!!

For what it's worth I posted my opinions as well supporting you in this matter . I don't want to be pessimistic but I doubt that we will hear from them .( except for a violation notice off course !)Let's just hope........

Ha...I've sent Yahoo so many complaints......never had one reply! Simply put, they couldn't care less about their users.
