Value is proportional to 1/Age
Value=K/Age where K is a constant

2 year old car's value is $10000, therefore,
10000=K/2
K=20000

The value of car when it is 10 years old
Value=20000/10
=$2000
Ans. $2,000

Age x value = constant

2 x 10000 = 10 x 2000

So, its value will be 2000 dollars.

Sorry Mr. Al, but this question cannot be correctly answered with the info. given. Without knowing the actual proportionality to age (e.g. one to one, two to one, is it linear or logarithmic, etc.) the price at any point other than the given point (2 years) cannot be determined.

Nothing. Only worth something if it drives. If this is a math question - I still say nothing.
