what do you perfer? dogs...............or cats? why?

cats are nice and easy to take care of it you don;t mide **** in your yard then a dog or cat.

I love both for different reasons. I love dogs for there loyalty, and i love cats for there easy nature and they are easy to care for. but I would perfer a dog if I had enough time to give to the dog. but i have two rescued cats right now!

Dogs, Dogs Dogs, Dogs are better companion pets and offer more benefits. They can actually be a part of your life and they care about you and wether you are there or not. Dogs also offer protection, they can do service work, and they think the world of you. I take my dogs camping, hiking, on walks to parties, kayaking, sledding etc. You can also train a dog to do almost anything. Cats really do not care too much wether or not you are there, you really can not train them to do much, they do not protect you, you really can not ake them places with you and they carry more diseases.

Cats. They are so cute. Very playful. Use the outdoors or litterbox. Very lovable. The only problem about them is spoiling them! Dogs are so nosy. Get in the dumpster. You always have to scold them for knocking you down. They smell bad. They are so noisy and annoying.

Im a dog lover. Dogs are more protective, and you get more attached to them then you do with cats.

For affection and loyalty, give me a dog any time.
However, cats are prettier (usually) and easier to look after --- if you don't mind the occasional dead mouse left at your door as an offering.

personally i like dogs better.they always want to play or get petted.cats only want that occasionally.with cats you have to keep buying litter all the time.and cat treats and wet food and catnip or they arent happy.with dogs an occaisonal treat is nice and u just have to pick up the poop every week.

Dogs. They are more of a companion. They love to be around you and play and snuggle and be happy. Cats are too snooty. And they arent very loving

Cats..mine are lap junkies, they don't need to be walked..you can leave them alone for a weekend, they don't jump on you when you walk in the door, they don't lick you all the time. they do not demand constant attention..Right now I have one curled up beside me, keeping me company while I am writing this. We have 2 cats.

I love both but hate the litter box you need for a cat.
