It sounds like you are in the first few weeks of pregnancy. Now, i don't mean to alarm you either but in some cases when the HCG levels are low, it is an indication of a problematic pregnancy, or possibly...multiple fetuses.

You should really check with your doctor on this. I wish you the best of luck.

If your HCG levels are not doubling and you are not bleeding at all they will probably do an ultrasound soon to see what is going on in there. From my experience with my m/c my doctor pretty much made it clear that if the HCG levels are not going up roughly the way they expect there is most likely a problem. I don't mean to be negative but having gone through this I would hate to help get your hopes up. Hopefully I am wrong and this little one will surprise us all! Good luck

Unfortunately, you are probably experiencing a chemical pregnancy. This means that a sperm fertlized the egg, and the embryo implanted, but it has some major chromosomal issues that are preventing it from growing properly. Your HCG levels may keep creeping up for several days and then begin to drop. For mosty women, the bleeding will begin when HCG levels do strart to drop.

Chemical pregnancy occur frequently, but most women who experience one will never have another one again.

I'm sorry you are experiencing this :( .

Sometimes it can actually take a few days at the beginning of a pregnancy for them to start doubling. Is there a reason your doctor is testing you so often? Did you have a previous miscarriage?

when i was pregnant my doctor told me if your hcg does not double like it should then more than likely something is wrong with your pregnancy. He was right because i had a miscarriage both times.
