I was wondering why people are criticizing Kobe when he shoots and when he Doesn't shoot.

When he shoots people say he ball hogs...

When he passes the ball and his teamates miss they still blame him saying he is not a team leader...(or something like that)

i was wondering why are they criticizing him?

Because they are jealous of his success and wish to discredit him .

people criticize kobe because they have nothing good to say about him. i agree with your view (ballhog if he shoots, not a leader if he passed). kobe is in a loss-loss situation. a damn if you do and damn if you don't kind of situation. michael jordan was a ballhog too during his earlier years and he got criticized for that. kobe is no exception. only time will tell if kobe will change his ways.

kobe is being criticized cause we take time watching his every move either on or off the court. he is virtually a magnet.

Understand this, LA has always been 100% behind Kobe, when i say LA I mean real Laker Fans. All others are haters who are mad because the best player since Jordan (could end up being better when it's all said and done) plays for the best franchise (it was the best until Jerry Buss refused to sell the team to AEG, opting to give it to his C-U-N-Tuesday son Jim Buss.) in the league; instead for their poo-dunk teams in Sac-Town, Salt Lake and Seattle

Its not just Kobe.

Look at LeBron James. He tries to make a last second shot, and misses, everybody says that hes a bust, and will never "Be Like Mike". He passes off to a teammate to go for that last second shot, and its "You know what your being paid for, take that last second shot!!!"

Change the situation and big time player, and the same thing will still happen, with a damned if you do, damned if you dont result.

He is one of the best players to play the game. The reason that people criticize him is cuz hes too good for their liking and/or because they dont realize he has a weak supporting cast (team). Of course they critcize cuz they wish their favorite team had him.

I don't criticize Kobe, i criticize the people that say he's the best player ever, because hes not. And, uh, thats pretty much it.

Nope, I never criticize him for passing the ball. He rarely rarely does that though, in the first place. He should pass the ball, seeing as how his team shoots better than he does.

Just like every other sport...T.O in football...Gordon in Nascar...A-Rod and Bonds in baseball... The smallest thing get made bigger than what they are....Kobe is the same way, the biggest in his sport so he's on the radar 24-7

because he was known to be a ball hog and people don't like his attitude on the court.. so it just built up and now anything he does is bad..

But i have to say.. hes a GREAT player.. but he has horrible personality on the court.
