However, I started to love boy names for girls. For example. I love the name Kennedy. My question is what do you think of Nala Jade and Nala Ann? And do you have any suggestions for the boy names suitable for girls? Thanks!

Nala Jade is really pretty. And this may sound corny, but Nala is what I named my daughter. Kennedy is cute as well. Pick a name the YOU will love saying everytime you call her name. Good luck!

I think Nala is really cute - it's used in The Lion King and has a beautiful feminine touch to it. It doesn't sound weird and made up either, which is great.

Nala Jade flows quite well. Nala Ann doesn't - the two A's between the names need something else in between else they sound a bit odd and hard to say.

Kennedy sounds too masculine in my opinion, and it doesn't really go with any of the other names you've picked out.

Have you thought of other boy-ish girl names like:

Asher
Avery
Barclay
Bricker
Bronte
Cairo
Delaney
Erin
Harper
Hayes
Jordan
Kansas
Lesley
Logan
London
Maddison
Marley
Monet
Morgan
Sean
Sydney
Tierney
Tristan

:)
Have fun & good luck!

My boyfriend and I like the name Raegan. It sounds masculine but I know of 2 girls with the name. I personally like Nala Jade better than Nala Ann.

Nala actually is a boys name ... it's a masculine Hindi name that means "stem" in Sanskrit (नल). I'm not fond of it because of its association with The Lion King (disney's penchant for giving boys names to girls is becoming more and more noticable ... Nala, Ariel, etc.)

Out of Nala Jade and Nala Ann, I prefer the middle name Jade.

What do you think of Cassidy as an alternative to Kennedy. Kennedy means "misshapen head" in Irish/Scottish/ and Welsh ... Cassidy means "Curly-Haired"

Also, son-kissed, David's first wife was named Michel ... a feminine Hebrew name meaning "Brook". Any name ending in -ael or -iel is an exclusively (at least traditionally) masculine name.

Think about this:

When you get to the stage that you have to label EVERYTHING your daughter possesses(Kindergarten and beyond), Nala has four letters whereas Kennedy has 7 letters.

Also, Nala has a great derivation (Urdu? Zulu? means beautiful), while Kennedy is a place name that derives from the Celtic for "bloody". As in a field of slaughter.

Do not do the cruelty of giving your girl a boy's name. She will resent it and you will regret it later on.

I like Jade for the middle name. Saying Nala Ann makes it sound like it is all running together.

Nala Jade is pretty. I have also started to like boys names for girls recently.

Michael (MEE-kye-el) is Hebrew and was originally used for both girls and boys - It's David's first wife

Tyler is cute when paired with a girlie middle name like Tyler Grace, or Tyler Ann

Tanner is also cute with a feminine middle name.
Tanner Rose, Tanner Jade.

Kennedy & Reagan are cute but they are becoming common for girls names.
Karsyn
Everette
Harris
