They are very accurate 10 days after your missed period. If its saying your not pregnant and you missed your period then I would go see a doctor and find out what the problem is and get a blood test that would tell you for sure if you pregnant. Pregnancy test are 99% accurate so I guess if you want to be technical there is that 1%. I took a pregnancy test about 10 days after the day I conceived even before my missed period and it came up possitive. I did the early response test.

They should be, but your body may not be producing at much of the HCG hormone as some women so you may get a faint positive or a negative and then a positive later. For the majority of people though you would get at least a faint positive with the more sensitive tests.
