I have a annular, or circumferential hymen. It forms a ring around the vaginal opening. I can barely get my finger in (this isnt to be perv or anything just explaining). The first time I have sex i dont even know how it will break because it has an opening in the middle of it (for menstrual etc). So how will the penis go in? Also, can it be attached to the clitoris? When i feel mine with my hand while i lay on my back it feels like the top part is connected to my clitoris, is this possible? It feels very hard so im kind of worried. thanks.

During sex the hymen really does not break as many think or believe, it tears. No your hymen is not attached to you clitoris, the hymen is a thin membrane of skin, if at all, and it only covers the vaginal opening. By the time a women reaches puberty the hymen has been greatly broken down. check out these sites and see if they help you.

I don't know if it can be attached to your clitoris or not. The first time you have sex The guy will break your hymen with his penis. This does hurt and also his penis will feel very very large inside of you. This only happens the first time.Even though it is painful it is also a very special time in a girls life. It is best to do this with someone who cares about or loves you. If you have someone who cares about or loves you then they will be patient and gentle with you. If you absolutely have to you can go to your gynecologist and the doc will break your hymen layer for you.

I don't really know much about this, though I'm well versed the female functions. Perhaps if you're worried about it, you could ask your dr. to pop it before your first experience. I've heard some hymen are uncomfortably hard to break, but I don't know if that's yours or not. My dr. accidentally popped mine in a gyno exam right before the wedding. As to it being attached to the clitoris, I have no idea. Let's be honest here.

If you're able to notice it and feel it that strongly, I do wonder if it might be a bit too thick or inflexible. Have you discussed this with a doctor? I think you might need to get it checked out to see if it's normal. Sometimes girls need their hymen to be fixed before they can have sex. If you can't get a finger in, I doubt you would be able to have sex, and if you did, it would probably be a long and painful experience for both parties. Alternatively you could try stretching it out gradually now each day, with your fingers.
