I'm not sure what it was called, but you sat inside it and turned a disk and the whole thing span around. Made me dizzy, but I kind of liked that!

The swings - definitely!!! I loved to try and swing as high as I could and what was really fun was to jump off in the up swing. I never liked anything that made me dizzy and I was always bigger than the other kids and could not do the teeter totter. The monkey bars just wasn't happening and we did not have the big huge playground complexes that they have now to run around in.

The merry go round. Most of the other equipment was broken or destroyed by the big kids in the neighborhood...like the swings being "swung" over the bar multiple times so no one could get on them...

The swings were the best. I would always swing really really high, because I'd always think that maybe I could swing all the way around.

If it was before lunch, the merry-go-round that you would push with all your might and just let it spin, and spin, and spin...
After lunch, it was the slide, without a doubt.
As Fulghum (sp?) once said, every thing I needed to know I learned in kindergarden. I say this because at the playground, as in life, I learned that things will always have you going in circles, and yes, life is full of its ups and downs, just like the merry-go-round and the slide.

I was always a fan of the swings to. My friends and I would always have contests to see who could jump the farthest off the swings.

I loved the swings also and then jumping off when I got really high. That was so much fun.
