My question is, what the hell is this place useful for?

It useful for a couple of things:
(1) If you really have a ? about something, you can ask it here and have a wealth of answers available to you
(2) If you have a question that you are too embarrassed to ask your family/friends about, you can get answers from people you don't know who won't judge you
(3) For taking care of boredom when you have nothing else to do

Well, it can be some place to kill time. However, it can be much more than that, you can give helpful advice, or if you want ask a question and get information about technology, Internet, websites, personal advice or just have questions answered just for fun.

Entertainment. If you are here in P&S (polls and surveys) then we are useful for asking useless but funny questions and giving useless but funny answers. If you are looking for somewhere more serious then go to any ther category! I personally think that you should saty here with us! We are so fun here (well most of us) Need any more help?? mostly entertainment, but there is also a wealth of info on here. The crowd is pretty diverse, and chances are any ? you have will get answered by someone who knows about whatever you are going through.

Welcome! It's a good place when your stuck in a situation and you need advice...or ask other people if you know something that you don't. And you can answer people questions or give them advice =). It's a good place only if you make it.
