you need to go to the ER right now. They won't think you are a junkie but that isn't important...your baby's health is the most important thing right now.

go to the ER or call your doctor. The baby's health is more important than your embarrasment!
the heat could be making it worse, too.
JaneDo - It' obvious you have never had real migranes or any serious pain. Pain can be more debilitating than anything - and when you are worn out from pregnancy anyway, it can be even worse. sensitivety to light, pounding pain, dizziness and nausea that keeps you from eating - that can have serious adverse effects on the baby, too. I'm not saying she should take vicodin, but being sick that long can be bad, too. Don't be so hard on her until you've had to walk in her shoes.
Once you get things settled with the Dr - you might look into Chiropractic for your migranes - they did wonders for me when I was pregnant, many times, migranes are affected by the change in blood flow in your system, and hormones - and Chirpractic can help. Specifically, a 'Gonstead- method' trained Chiropracter who doesn't use all kinds of therapy gimmicks. they will target specific areas of nerves for relief. It works.
On the plus side, if this is your first pregnancy, you may be in for a bonus - many women who suffer from migranes find that after their first child is delivered, the migranes lessen or dissapear completely. I don't remember why, but it is fairly common.
HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER SOON!

Usually you can take a vicoden every 4 to 6 hours for pain. Being pregnant is a little different. i was prescribed it when i was pregnant and it said to do the same thing. It all just kinda depends on how far apart you took the vicoden. If you arent feeling the baby move you should try putting cold or light to your tummy that might wake it up. Also what might help is calling the poison control .. you dont have to reveal your name and they have lots of home remedys, also try eating or drinking something mostly milk or bread or crackers...

You need to go to the ER now! In the first place, I'm sure you misunderstood your doctor. No doctor would instruct any patient, let alone a pregnant one, to take 2500 mg. He probably said 250mg...and it's every 4-6 hours. Not every 2.
Your husband should be ashamed. If he really needs vicodin and is prescribed them legally...he shouldn't have to hide them in the tylenol bottle.

First of all breath, My doctor prescribed me vicodin for back pain and I was 37 weeks pregnant. They do tend to make the baby a little groggy so that is probably the reason you feel decreased movement. Call the hospital and explain the situation to them, they will tell you what you need to do. Then do it. I think you will be fine and so will your baby but definatly call the hospital and ask to speak to someone in ob. Good luck and I hope this helps!

Sometimes we make mistakes that we later feel embarassed about, but we are all human... call your doctor right away and just explain to him that you got your tylenol and your fiance's vicodin mixed up and are now very concerned.
Chances are you baby is just fine though. People do MUCH dumber things... like street drugs and alcohol. I'm sure that your baby will be fine, but calling the doctor would be the smart thing to do right now.

your baby is more than likely fine... the vicodin is running through your blood stream, and therefore went to your baby as well, sedating the baby...
GO TO THE DR ANYWAY!! Who cares what they think, make sure your husband is with you, and explain the situation.... if you don't go to the ER tonight, call your doctor right away, and see him tomorrow. But like I said, chances are baby is fine, just sedated right now, but why take chances??

shame on you for taking anything. migraines won't kill you, they just hurt. Sit in a dark room next time.
As far as your question, you should go to the ER immediately, discuss what happened that you accidentally took someone else's medication and hopefully your baby isn't seriously injured.
Let me this be a lesson to you not to take anything while your pregnant, regardless of your pain or your doctor's blanket OK.

go to the emergency room NOW! would you rather lose your baby than be embarrassed? Just explain to them about how you get awful headaches and those pills were where your pills normally are so you didnt even look! They will understand! good luck and god bless!
