maybe just the possibility of one (even if it's non poisonous) to possibly turn out to be... poisionous. When we see a spider, like a snake I guess we instantly think (at least some of us) is it... or isn't it, that usually is enough to keep us at bay. Recently at work a spider that was once thought to be harmless bit a woman and her foot swelled up twice it's side and she thought the spider was harmless....

Because you can't predict what they are going to do. Some spiders will hide in your bed and bite you later, or even more than once (based on real experience). Some will jump. They also run faster than you would think for having to co-ordinate 8 legs.

They are creepy-crawly.
I cannot identify whether it is poisonous or not quickly.
So, therefore, all spiders get screamed at.
My hubby is always fussing cause I want them gone... he says, AWW, let the spider live in the corner, he ain't hurting you!!! lol
So, I have learned to live with one or two.
Did you know that at any given time in any given home, there is a spider within 3 feet of you?

i'm afraid of any insect, bee, wasp, spiders, etc.. I was outside talking to my sister yesterday and it's like 70 or 75 degrees where I live. We were on our back porch outside and we have these big bushes, and bees and bugs always love flocking to them. We kept running back and forth because we are literally terrified of them. I know you are supposed to stay still when they come near, but I think everybody's instinct is to run lol.

People are afraid of being touched without permision; and spiders seem to be willing to touch you but with eight little fingers. It just ain't right.

For me, I am afraid of spiders.
It's because they're creepy and crawly.
They have many legs and they can move very fast.
Just imagine thousands of spider crawling all over you.

I think its because they still bite and that can cause discomfort.Also they way the look I guess can cause fear.Its like my fear of needles,i'm not afraid of the pain of it or the fact that it pierces my skin,I don't really know why I'm afraid of it I just am.

Bugs ARE BUGS AND THEY WILL BE GOOD for only one reason to eat eat other bugs .No spiders do at little bugs in your garden and help keep them off certain plants.But they are just creepy .

Spiders are freaky weather they are poisonous or not. Its the way they look and the way they move. Its just not right.
