First of all, make sure it is not an allergy, however with some eye moisturizers, specifically oil-containing creams, they cause the skin around the eyes to retain water. The cream holds in the water overnight and results in your eyes being mildly to severely puffy. I have clients tell me this all the time. I tell them to switch to an oil-free moisturizer, which I suggest you do, like High Potency Night-A-Mins® Mineral-enriched eye cream. The Origins counter really has a lot of great products for the skin and face, especially around the eyes. You might also want to try Clinique. If you switch your moisturizer and you still notice the puffyness, you may just want to lay off the cream at night and only apply it in the mornings. Then, you would want to follow up with No Puffery™Cooling mask for puffy eyes from Origins. It works wonders and I swear by it.

Don't put your eye cream on your eye lids, or that will cause your eyes to get puffy.

Use eye cream below your eyes, and in the area near your eyebrows if you have very dry skin there.

But not on the eyelids themselves. The way our body rejuvenates during sleep, your eyes are soaking up oils that they don't need in you eyelids.

Good luck.

I agree with belligerant - skip the cream afew days, and see if it makes a difference.
Check to see if it is for sensetive skin, or unscented.
Are you using it exactly as directed? It is for eyes, not the rest of the face?
Also check your eyemakeup, and makeup remover.

hi maybe its the eye cream.

Maybe you are allergic?

Try a few mornings without the eye cream & see if there is a difference.

if it's itchy it must be due to allergy, if it's not ,its probably due to water coagulation.
