The '60s was the very best of rock & roll!
It was the era of "the one-hit wonders"...
such as: The Cyrkle -- "Red Rubber Ball"
(1966)
I also still like to listen to (almost all songs)
of The Beach Boys; although, these days,
I think of them as The Beach Men--since,
contrary to popular belief, they were not
exactly high school kids when they began
their career.
"The Buckinghams" are still fun to listen to.
(My favorite of theirs is: "Kind of a Drag",
also from '66)
The Tremoloes -- "Silence Is Golden" ('67)
those words are a metaphore for life.
The Rascals (a.k.a. The Young Rascals) --
"Groovin' " (also from '67.)
Also anything of The Byrds, The Monkees,
The Turtles, not to mention Herman's Hermits!
(How can anyone not love their song "There's
a Kind of Hush" ? Just one more from '67 --
which Karen & Richard Carpenter re-recorded
in '76.)
That'll have to do for now. Time to turn on
my radio again.

Hi Sexie Sadie -
does that answer your question? Entertainers don't like to divulge their age; and, as Linus frequently told Lucy, "Musicians don't dance!" But we're here here (just kidding.) You know that song by Brooks and Dunn, "My Maria"? I went to a Three Dog Night concert, in San Antonio, back in those days, and the guy that wrote that song opened the show solo and he played that song. I can't remember his name, maybe Pete K. does, but it was Something Stevenson, I can't remember, can anybody? Can I do this here, answer question with a question? I won't get arrested? Oh, no! Another question!

47 here, me too. Ignore the haters, they don't realize that the members of the Clash, the Sex Pistols and U2 are our age. We made the sounds they imitate. And more.
