1) Free Samples!

a) Take free samples to local businesses (insurance offices, real estate offices, doctor's offices, mortgage offices, etc.)

b) Take free samples to local groups/meetings (chamber board meetings, community service groups such as Kiwanis, Rotary, and Lions clubs, local charity board meetings such as Red Cross, Boy Scouts, YMCA, etc.) - you can get a list of these groups from your local chamber of commerce. Be sure to contact these groups first to get approval to show up with free samples.

c) Set up a table/booth with free samples at local community events, such as street fairs, craft fairs, health fairs (offer healthy treats here!), etc.

2) Advertise regularly (local papers, radio, direct mail, etc.) "Specials" such as "buy one get one free" on pastries or pies, or buy a dozen get 6 free on cookies and/or donuts, etc. You can either offer a Discount Coupon or make one day a week "specials day" (e.g. Monday is pastry specials, Tuesday is pie specials, Wednesday is donut specials, etc.).

Best wishes and good luck.
