As in the last few years, the Suns & Mavs will have great regular seasons. The Spurs will finish maybe 3rd behind them.

But come playoff time, expect the Mavs to crumble at the 1st sign of pressure. The Suns w/ the acquisition of Grant Hill will perform well & duel the Spurs to a game 7 but at the end of the day, their lack of size & defense will work against them.

The Spurs will repeat as NBA Champs in 2008!

Maybe Mavs, but shake off that 1st round nightmare with the Warriors and collapse last '06 finals. And it can be the Suns either, but better stop whining and complaining about the kicks and fouls and all of the stuff, just concentrate on beating their opponents during playoffs. If that doesn't happen, well the Spurs is still the best and will make it back to back champions.

each physique says Spurs-Suns coz thats the sequence they keep in mind using fact it replace into in basic terms a month in the past. Have y'all forgotten the Mavs-spurs sequence from 06? It went to seven video games with a suspension (Jason Terry third scoring selection for dallas) had 2 video games go in to extra time and one in to double extra time. Spurs and Mavs have an alive and nicely opposition (i be responsive to coz i'm an extraordinarily vocal mav fan residing in Santone). They matchup extra helpful, they have extra drama, extra gamers exchanged and all that Jazz. heavily anybody concept it replace into going to be the MAvs enjoying the spurs interior the western finals and NBA ws banking on it to grant the score of final years prompt classic sequence. i'd take dal/santone all the way.

The Spurs lost some dead weight during the offseason (Butler and the contract of Scola they could not fully acquire) and appear to be picking up high quality players already (Tiago Splitter) and are seeking more like Udoka by simply trading a third string guard (Udrih). Looks to me like the Spurs have a great shot at going for a repeat.
