Do you want to get back to nature or is the modern world of cities and technology for you? Is there too much technology in your life now? Would you prefer to be doing something in the countryside rather than in an urban environment? Do you want throw your cellphone out the window? Do you want to walk the mountains rather than walk through subways?

I loved going to my chicken yard and gathering eggs. Didn't even mind cleaning up the poop. My grandkids loved the weird things the chickens did. We had an acre in town, a garden, an egret that ate my goldfish, a hawk that stole a vole from my cat, a mama raccoon, a fox, a deer, a bunch(10) young turkeys, squirrels and bunnies...It was wonderful.I miss my old home...

I would like more natural things, more Earth friendly things, more green things, and less things that people have tampered with, especially when we are talking food. Technology is mostly good. I hate TV, but the telephone and computer are fantastic, as long as people only use them moderately. Technology for medecine is fantastic, but we should use it for peace not war.

As far as country vs. city... I love nature and hiking and the OCEAN is my favorite place in the whole world and all the sports that come with the outdoors make my life, but I love people and bustle and entertainment and the city provides that--I will always be a city person. If you check out Common Ground Magazine (they also have a website, but you'll have to Google it) they had an article in June I think about these new skyscrapers that they are still developing that would have the top floor as a place to grow food and the other floors for living and working. The plants on the top floor would eliminate vast farming lands and would also be a great air con or heating system for the building. Did you know cities are the most eco concious places to live? It's because they are so efficient (well, obviously, they could still be improved).

I like them both . Countryside and peace and quiet gives you serenity and a sense of stability. consensus is you live longer with this kind of life style. On the other hand; I love cell phone.computers, and blackberries. I'm always waiting for the next leap in technology. The trick is a proper balance between the two. In order to keep down the stress.

Way too much technology for me. I have friends that everytime some new device comes out they have to have it. To me it just makes life more complicated. I would much rather live in a log home in the mountains by a lake. I can do without a cell phone, computer and a TV. Concrete jungle is not for me.

my friend the world is already man made.....just take a look at all the horrible things "man" has and is doing to this BORROWED planet.....Technology, Lust for Power, Greed, The Almighty Dollar, has surpassed Humanity a long time ago....
sure exploring nature and getting out of the city hustle and bustle is good, if you can afford to these days.....

I would like man-made things to coincide with mother nature. Have machines that absorbs renewable energy for our uses, have industries use products that are 100% recyclying, have lumber companies plant as many trees as they've cut off.

Ugh!- No Way!!! You mean MORE "tinkley" Cellphones? And MORE over outfitted SUVs? And MORE man-made contrails steaking across the sky? And MORE "bling-bling"- to fill up MORE Landfills- to pollute MORE- of our disappearing landscape? Do ANY of us REALLY need any MORE of the JUNK we already complicate our lives with??? -I'll take my "Answer"- off the air... :)
