You have got to ask him, not us. My guess is that he gave in to weakness, but it doesn't mean that he doesn't love you. A good talk is required.

Bet a lot of people on here are going to say scared of commitment, I think this is more of an excuse than anything else. My girlfriend cheated on me and I think it could be to do with her never feeling engaged, or wanting something more from a relationship. at the end of the day people cheat for seperate reasons usually a problem within the relationship, commitment is too vague to be considered an appropriate answer to this.

This is the man you are attracted to. If he was the type that never cheated and was devoted to you then you would think him a wimp and push him aside.
Get in to a larger circle of men. Don't go after men that give you an quick orgasm but the men you can count on in the long run.

because its different with men. they are opposites of woman. men think about sex all the time. and they WILL cheat. no matter if they're married, engaged, whatever. Only very few marriages are successful, and i mean few. In most marriages, men cheat all the time without even the wife knowing.

Why would you marry a engaged cheating man? now why do they cheat, because they can and some women except it.

It may be because they feel they must have one last fling. Or it may be because they're not marriage material and they'll cheat when they're married. Either way, I'd sure would not tolerate it. In my book, engaged is committed. Period.

They are looking for one last fling because they will never date again after being married, they have one woman in their life when they are used to switching. They are trying to get used to the fact that they will never see other women again.

men get nervous about one woman for the rest of their lives. do you know for a fact that he is actually out doing "it" with other people?? or is he just going to strip clubs or something. if he is not doing it, then just give him space, he will come around.

Maybe they don't really want to get married. Another reason is that men have very strong sex drives and therefore it is difficult for them to deal with sexual temptations.

Not all men do... if yours did, then I'd say there needs to be a serious discussion before any wedding bells--I'd suggest marriage counseling.
