I just took my computer in to the local computer shop, which im never going to do again, so they could fix my DvD drives, now i got it back and my sound keeps skipping, I use my computer mainly for gaming and music/video editing, having sound that constantly and randomly skips just wont do, and i really dont want to take it back to that computer shop, so does anyone know how I can fix this? I went through the trouble shooting tips, and none of them worked

Try updating drivers. If your computer has a card instead of built into the motherboard make sure it is connected properly. Are the cd/dvd drives connected to sound ports on the mobo? Remove them and try that. Also be sure you have enough memory. Also be sure you have your speakers plugged in completely to the proper port.
