How do you feel about reparations for slavery to African Americans?

I think any talk of that now is absurd and a money grab by selfish people who in no way are affected by that now. Slavery was a dark ugly spot on our nations past but any money should have been paid then not now.

I think the whole idea is absurd. Those people who's ancestors owned slaves, have no control over what their ancestors choose to do.

I also think the African Americans need to realize there were people of other races that were also slaves. Two of my ancestors were sold into slavery by the puritans because they were Quakers. Would they even consider my family being desiring of reparations? Of course not.
