A best friend of mines is having a baby on the way. She wanted to take independent study but i think she should just go to school. Theres a day care center at school. Would it cost? And how do you think it cost if it does?

The best thing your friend can do is contact the school and get accurate information.I'm sure your friend has a lot of things on her mind and she will appreciate you being a supportive friend to her.I'm glad she want to continue her education, even if she must complete it over a longer period of time. You didn't say if your friend is getting pre-natal care.If she isn't seeing a doctor I urge you to ensure your friend gets medical care not only for her unborn child but also for herself. She could also contact social services to give her financial assistance if she has no support from home.Your friend will be going through so many changes and she will need a good friend.Take care.

I think if she is old enough to have a baby then she is old enough to decide where she wants to go to school although I do think your a great friend for sticking by her in this situation, daycares vary depending on whether they are government run or privately run and she will need to make enquires an a appointment very early on as often their are very long waiting lists for day care centres.

several colleges do free day care or day care at a very low price. She would have to check with her specific college to know the price. good luck and god bless!
