Masturbation is a normal activity, not only among teenagers, but also adults. Do not let yourself worry or feel guilt over it, but do keep masturbation a private and controlled matter. Inasmuch as your activity is nobody's business, neither should you make it anyone else's business but yours.

Pornography is a difficult issue. It is not always fun and games. If you're talking about magazines such as Playboy, then there is not much to be concerned about. Again, keep your viewing of such magazines a private matter. If you're referring to videos, you need to be very careful. If the videos are of people having sex, you need to understand what you are watching is fantasy, acting, and entertainment. It is not reality to think you can have sex as freely and loosely as the actors do in these videos. They are being paid for their time, and they are also medically monitored. In real life, the behavior in those videos is very risky behavior which can lead to disease, heartbreak, unwanted pregnancies, and loneliness. Honestly, I would strongly advise against teenagers watching such videos. It's not such a great activity for adults either. Pornography can also become an addiction, and most assuredly can cause disruption in boyfriend/girlfriend relationships, and also marriages.

On a final note, masturbation and pornography can quickly become very lonely activities. The truth is, as human beings, we are meant to find a mate. Sexual stimulation and satisfaction is best experienced with a loving and committed partner. A partner who is not only in love with you, but is also loved by you. A partner you feel true commitment to. A partner you wish to please sexually, and wish to be pleased sexually by. Sexual expression should be an unselfish and loving expression towards another person who has your heart. Masturbation and pornography aren't necessarily wrong, but please do not let masturbation and pornography give you a place to hide from the hard work and reward which is part and parcel to having a loving and committed relationship.

Not only is it not wrong, but its normal, and natural. Don't worry about it. People of ALL ages masturbate, and its normal for every one.

As for porn, again, don't worry about it. I watched porn as a teen and it didn't give me unrealistic views of sex or any thing like that because I knew that normal sex wasn't going to be the over dramatized versions that you see in porn. As long as you know that sex wont always be like porn, then your fine. Masturbate, watch porn, and enjoy.

Not wrong for teens to masturbate, but watching porn is not a good idea, especially for teens. You will have an unhealthy view of sex. Porn is not healthy sex. And watching it is not good for you.

I actually find it's wrong to masterbate and good to watch porn. I am not comfortable playing with myself and porn gives me confidence to be able to be sexual-not that I am though.

I don't personally feel that it's wrong. But I'm sure you'll meet some that will tell you it is! I'm a mom, and I sure wouldn't want to know if my kids were doing that... but hey... at least you are doing that and not out screwing around!!!
