I disagree will all the answers. heath care is a major problem. Because one doesn't have it doesn't mean they do not work one or as many a 3 jobs. not all companies offer it at all. Private is about $600.00 a month per person if you are in perfect health with a high deductible. i think most of you have corporate insurance where you pay so much and they pay the rest. research before putting the ones Down who cannot afford it even though the y are working. have just a little compassion here.

The President's health care is part of him employment contract. You get to be President and you will have your health care paid for you as well. Besides, lots of people have their health care paid by their employers.
All you need to do is get off your backside, get a job, show up for work on time-every day, develop some skills and a work history and by golly, you can get a good job as well.

Givro - it may not be free - but around the developed world it averages half the price of US health care and produces significantly better health statistics.

Our defense budget this year will be close to $900 billion dollars, more than all other countries in the world combined. As long as we are suckered into spending our money in this way it will be argued we cannot afford healthcare.

National health care isn't free. Look at the taxes paid in the UK for example. Hmmmm, I'm assuming that you pay taxes.

You can get "free" health care if you qualify for a job which will pay for your healthcare. My brother-in-law has free healthcare with his job.

But most of us don't qualify for such. We have to actually pay money.

He's a government employee. He automatically get's health insurance. We pay for it, he gets it. We'd also pay for others' healthcare if we get universal healthcare.
