Islamics is not a word, OK?

people on here use it to define a fundamentalist, thinking it's different than Islamic.
thanks.

Thanks rumbler_12, Islam is a religion and Islamic is the religions belief system, that's not the point this isn't religion section. I am saying Islamic is not a word to describe a terrorist. That's all.

Neither is "islamo-fascist," "crypto-communist," and a lot of other rigth-wing noise.

They seem to have about as much respect for the English language as they do for the Constitution, orur veterans welfare, or anything else outside their extremist ideology.

sorry babe, but new words are added and made up every day , try looking at ginormous, or some of the new words added to the dictionary this year instead of nit picking as most of the people do here. come across with some ideals or at least a well informed opinion

although 'Islamics do group all Muslims in to it instead of the extremists that they are trying to talk about

ok i used the word islamics in a earlier answer but the context was correct
" so its a tuff nut to crack but look everywhere Islam has spread they attack All non Islamics"

cause the extremists are attacking non Muslims so the word Islamics IE members of the Muslim religion is correct , In my opinion.

just saw my other answer and figured id bring this to a head

There are Christian extremists like those who play with snakes or blow up abortion clinics, there are Jewish extreisits, there re ISLAMIC or Muslim extremists. There are atheist extemists. there are extemeists in all walks of life. Like RACIST extremists for one example. About 1% of muslims are extremists, just like with the other groups I mentioned.

Most Muslims are not extremists, like most people are not.

Kasey Kasim is muslim or Islamic and he is not an extremist.

Extremists are rare, but ignorance and racism abounds in the world.

For Clarity. The religion is ISLAM. Adherents to ISLAM are called Islamic or Muslims, wither is correct.

No. Islamic means "relating to Islam".

Extremist means "far beyond the norm".

By definition, 100% of a population cannot be extremists.

crabby blind guy,the term Islamofascist was coined by a French leftist named Maxime Rodinson, to describe the Iranian Revolution of 1978.

I agree and "Islamofascist" is an even dumber term because fascism is the partnership of corperations and the government--what does this have to do Islamic fundamentalists?????
