Or terrorism? Of all the questions CNN got from youtube, they did not find one pertaining to these issues? Smells funny to me, and I am a liberal.

I thought it missed a whole lot of issues actually.
Wheres the money coming from to pay for medical care?
Where was the younger generation? I wanted to see their issues and what was important to them.
Where do they really stand on the war and the illegal issues? I truly wanted their opinion.

This "debate" should "smell funny" - to anyone who watched it. There are a lot of concerns presently facing this nation - you mention two primary ones in your question - and did anyone get a clue as to where any of these clowns stand on these important issues in tonight's debate? I think not.

I was interested in education, health care, and important issues that pertain to my family. There is plenty of time to address those issues hun, and they will be addressed at the right time. Terrorism is a GOP propaganda tool. Dems don't need to look tough to get the 'fear vote'.

I didn't get to watch the entire debate but was wondering the same thing. I assumed that those subjects were covered before I turned it on. I guess not. Yes, I agree with you, those two of the most important problems in the US at this time.

It is a bit odd as well as the absence of questions from the nation's youth, which is one of things I thought the YouTube debate had going for it.

Also, it seemed like there was an unproportionate number of questions from California...just a bit fishy to me.

Yeah it does seem weird.... almost all of the questions were about the war and what the candidates would do if they were president but no illgel immigration question.

As for terrorism, I think we can do without the obligatory "I will defend the country from the marauding Arab hordes" for one night.

I did not see the entire thing, so I can't speak as to whether or not they covered illegal immigration or not.
