when you reach the part, pause the movie, press print screen button on the keyboard, go to paint, press ctrl + v, using the select tool trim the borders. while pressing print screen note that you r viewing in the full screen mode or any other mode which is the best. after editing the image, save the file .

print screen will not work with media player, so if you want to copy a snapshot of the clip, there should be an option at the top of windows media player
if not, than you could try downloading a trial software like camtasia which might help.
i think it would be easier if you aimed your webcam at the computer screen to take a shot.

the shot u want to copy,play the movie and pause on that shot and u can copy that and paste on a paint page and there u can edit the pic also....and the best thing is get a software name VCD cutter from which u can take any pic which u want from that movie ok....hope u will get me ...bye..take care

its simple
use the latest version of PowerDVD to view ur movie
amongst the options(in form of buttons), u will find a camera type graphic logo
right click
and say capture frame.its really easy
all u need 2 do is capture the frame at the right moment

if you watch the movie in windows media player you can get the still picture in the first answer
if you want good quality capturing photos use Intervideo WinDVD or Cyberlink Power DVD softwares
in Win DVD you just capturing frame by one click
in power DVD you must configure the setting like....picture format, location for saving... etc., ( use C for capturing the frame )
