Okay I have finally watched the film. One thing it doesn't do is explain WHY does it work. If any of you believe in this, can you explain it to me why does it work? The science of it...I mean. Thanks.

simply....what ever you are thinking about....at any moment....because of human nature, you will be able to more easily recognize a similar 'thing' out side of yourself.
If you believe a negative about yourself...you will support your belief by being receptive to experiences in the world that align with that belief.
If you dare to believe in your hearts desires...you will see those doors opening in front of you.
It's important to cultivate an inner truth....the more pure and loving it is ...the more love and truth you will grasp in reality.

There is NO science to it at all. There was a great article in the latest Skeptic magazine that shows "The Secret" for the sham it is. Positive thinking will get you so far, but it really comes down to your own actions that make things happen either for the better or worse. But if you think you'll get a fancy car just by sitting around thinking about, go right on ahead. But don't expect a car to suddenly appear in your driveway because you thought about it.
And the way the quantum physics is described in the movie/book is hooey too.
And here's a quick test for you to know "The Secret" is all false. If everything that happens in your life is because you willed it, then you must also accept the fact that victims of crime, car accidents, cancer and genocide somehow willed that. Which means, as was pointed out in the Skeptic article, that those 6 million Jews killed in the Holocaust must have somehow wanted that to happen to them.
It's ridiculous and the world would be a better place if people saw such scams as "The Secret" for what it is —Â another charleton out to make a buck off suckers.

It works.. sort of, in the way that we are always moving towards something, though most of us are completely unaware of what that something is. The secret is that you can focus on what you want to move towards and make your direction in life a conscious move instead of an unconscious move. So many people fail because they either stop trying or never really even start trying. Constant trying for non-stupid goals (trying to win the lottery doesn't count), almost always leads to positive results.

Whatever you put out there will come back to you. It's says to think positive and surround yourself with positivity and you will get it in return.
If you need a situation to work out in your favour, then you need to believe that it WILL happen - not even can happen because that gives room for things to go wrong. Visualise yourself at the end of the tunnel and the situation has been resolved.
If you have negativity in your life or negative things/people around you then you will have a certain amount of negativity in or around you.
Stay positive, see the light at the end of tunnel and 'The Secret' will come to life in you and in your life.

First, it isn't a secret if you're telling everyone about it.
Secondly, any law of attraction is unsubstantiated science.
If the law of attraction worked, then let's show the film to a starving child in Africa who has just lost 2 parents to HIV/AIDS and is now infected and see the results. Let's show the film in prisons across the world and see what happens.
