Unfortunately, your period is here to stay for a very long time and if you're ovulating, you're probably going to get it again in about two weeks. Ovulation usually occurs between two periods.

Typically, ovulation occurs about 14 days before your period. If you ovulate but don't get pregnant (and I hope you won't!), this is the signal for your body to have a period. It says, "No pregnancy this month. Let's clean out and try it again next month." So, if you believe you are ovulating now, you'll get your period in about 2 weeks. It's normal for someone your age not to ovulate every month, so you may have not have a regular period every single month until your body gets into a stable pattern.

You will get your period two weeks after you ovulate. Average menstrual cycle is about 28 days.

How do you know you're ovulating? Did you get the little crampiness that some girls and women get (mittleschmirz--sp)? Ovulation comes roughly in the middle of your cycle, so it sounds as if you'll probably get it in two weeks or so.

Sounds as if you are having regular cycles right off the bat (as I did).
