Because, bush's actions caused so many innocent people to perish. Also, his intentions are including greed, personal agenda, etc. Not to mention stupidity, lies and corruptions, which make him nothing lesser than Hitler!

There are a number of similarities between Hitler and Bush that invite comparison, the chief being that they both felt justified in breaking international law and invading other countries, using lies and hyperbole to justify their actions.
They were both militantly antilabour, and slavishly procorporation.
They both allowed their supporters as to violate the law, and covered for them when they did so.
They both demonized their opponents through a violently partisan media owned largely by their supporters.
Both subverted the democracy that elected them to carry through an antidemocratic agenda.
Given those similarities, and the undeniable fact that the Bush league have been willing to lie and distort the truth, the opposition can be forgiven if they overstate their case right back. Of course Bush is not as bad as Hitler.
He is, however, a war criminal by the standards WE set at the Nuremburg trials. Look them up yourself.

Hitler was not the most diabolical person to walk the Earth. Don't get me wrng, he's somehwere in the Top Ten. But The methods Hitler used to gain power, and the tactics of the current administration are frighteningly similar. Conservatism, taken to the extreme, becomes fascism, just as Liberalism, taken to the opposite extreme, becomes socialism.

Some enjoy the hyperbole. It's a good way to get people emotionally riled up.
Some just point the direction they see Bush heading.... implying that it's a slippery slope toward that end if we don't stop him.
And some don't really realize how bad Hitler or Stalin was -- like getting a splinter or cut and claiming that you're dying. It's not that no harm was done -- it's that they cannot make a reasonable comparison of the relative harms.

On this forum you're going to read about liberals calling bush, hitler. You're also going to read about the conservatives saying all libs are cowards and unpatriotic. This is an anonymous forum and a lot of people have really strong opinions. Some we agree with, some we don't.

People who make these absurd comparisons have no perspective on what they're talking about. They oppose Bush's going to war, when the armed forces is 100% volunteer, when the media can freely criticize, slander and publish inflammatory things about the President, and they think we live in the Third Reich. It is an insult to those who died in the Holocaust and lived under Nazi oppression.
When our soldiers commit crimes against innocent people, they are brought up on charges and if convicted, are sentenced. When the SS troops murdered innocent people, it was official German policy, and they were promoted and commended for their bloody acts.
People who compare Bush to Hitler cannot make a credible case against Bush. So they draw attention to themselves and get a few ignorant people in uproar.

moveon.org comes to mind, Thank you, Michael Moore. their Venezuelan dictator, I mean president, Chavez, that the left loves sooo much and Carter blessed the "election" of, is looking a little more like Hitler every day than Bush ever could, I would say. the left is seeking a savior and putting their faith in any off the wall SOB that comes along, all as a political finger in the eye of the right.

The liberals are just showing their hate and anger for this country. Just stand by and watch them blow another election by acting this way. Al Gore's arrogance turned away many voters, then John Kerry's fakeness turned people away, but it was also aided by Michael Moore's phony documentary. So I love hearing how dumb Bush is, how he's Hitler, a war criminal, how 9/11 was a conspiracy, etc. It's all going to backfire on the libs.
