Is it possible to overwrite a CD-RW that I burned songs onto? Can I delete burned songs? Or do I have to overwrite? Or is neither possible? I dont know any technical language, so if someone could explain to me about CD-RW's in simple terms, that would be great!!!

Thanks for reading!!

Sure, depending on what burning software you are using, you can simply format it, formating should be an option in the toolbar when you open the program.

In so much as 'overwriting', when you record more songs to a CD, if there is room, then it gets added to the end, if there is not enough room, then you will get an error.

Format, and reburn!!

Yes, you can overwrite anything on a CD-RW as long as you have a CD drive that is capable of writing CD's or DVD's.

Yes..thus CD-RW (re-writeable)

If you are playing it in a car or stereo, then you finalized it. You cannot just delete one song, like on a hard drive. You will need to have your burn software UNfinalize the disk, effectively erasing it, then reburn the songs you want on it.

well, you have 2 choice:
1.erase all the content in the cdrw
2. if you choose multiple session disc ( not the standard finalize disc) option, before burning the cdrw, then you can add new content to the cd, as long as there are free space in the cd
