Yes I do. I do believe god with help them if they want help and pray about it. God can do anything.

I have a 44 year old brother that drinks and uses meth really bad. He has been doing it now for 4 years. He is tearing his family apart. I don't know what to do for him, but it hurts me to see him like that. When he doesn't use, he is so sweet and his family means everything to him. But when he uses, he is really mean and everyone is scared to be around. He hits on his wife, and calls the kids very bad names. Yes he needs help, but won't get help. What should we do to help him. When i call him and try to talk to him, he'll hang up on me.

Yes, that person needs help - I don't attempt to try.
I have no idea if that person believes in God.
I remember hearing that at AA meetings they put God right in the rule book, you can't force religion on people. It rarely ever works out.

Maybe, I dunno. I think drug addicts have to first want to help themselves. God can't do it by Himself. I don't think God would waste his time on someone who doesn't want to change. All you can be is a good example and "be there for them when they are ready to change", and above all just love them.

I'm a recovering carbohydrate addict.
I could only be helped when I decided to change my life for good.
