I live in California, and everybody thinks everyone surfs here, does nothing but tan all day long, always has amazing weather, and mingle with the celebs all the time.

When people think its always below 60 in Illinois. It gets over 100 some days. And its a humid heat since I'm near Lake Michigan.

That people in Maine are all hicks and poor people. That is true with some areas of the state, but in the southwestern areas around portland, there are many upscale suburbs.
