REALLY I was surprised about Drew. I wish it would have been Tom Bereron..HE JUST DON'T SEEM THE TYPE for that type of show, and he has his new one starting next month, who knows really, how they pick the people they do for the shows. It will never be the same . Each different personality, and all. Guess we wait and see,

One poster made the comment about Drew always hitting on beautiful women during his successful 10 year comedy show. His dream just came true - being younger than Barker, Carey can probably tape a month's worth of shows in a week - I see the spirit of TPIR continuing in Carey and I also see someone who can still adlib and improv with the audience - I bet Carey boosts ratings a few points higher thanks to the curiousity factor. Plus, the show can start giving away foreign cars and more exotic prizes as it departs from the conservative influence of Barker.

I dislike him. He consistently seems to be making exciting of each and every of the folk on the tutor. Granted they are loopy yet Bob Barker in no way acted like they have been ridiculous. I additionally do no longer in basic terms like the recent colorations that they positioned on the gadgets this 12 months. It seems bizarre. If he does not improve interior the subsequent week or so I won't subject staring at it anymore. important Drew puppy peeve -- asking everybody who they choose to declare hi to mutually as the wheel is spinning and ignoring the wheel. everybody does not ought to declare hi to somebody, on condition that they ask.

I like Drew Carey, but not for this job. I don't think his personality and humour go well with this show. I wish they had chosen someone who had similar beginnings as Bob Barker. Bob Barker had started off as a host of many smaller game shows, I would have liked to see Mark Walberg (not the actor, game show host - http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0906919/ ). I think the people trying to find a replacement were too focused on finding someone already mainstream and well-known.

I am with you on it being Tom Bergerond... LOVE HIM. I just cant believe they chose Drew, he's an obnoxious lazy little man who did a show about him sitting around drinking beer while somehow getting good looking girls to crawl all over him (yeah right) and then sat at a desk while telling other guys to act stuff out and now, somehow he gets yet another gig to do the price is right...hes just the most perfectly wrong choice for the show.

He will be an ok host but without Bob Barker I don't see the show lasting very long. Bob was the Price is Right.

I think it will be o.k. witth Drew Carey. I was hoping it would be John O' Hurly though. I think he would have been better suited for the show.
