Most likely it's cervical fluid which changes consistency throughout your cycle. There are several types of cervical fluid : None, sticky, creamy and eggwhite. You can actually track when you are most fertile by which type you are producing. It is completely normal.

If it's chunky, that's bad. If it smells really foul, that's bad.

Other than that it's completely a normal thing. If you haven't hit puberty, you get a thicker random discharge than older girls get. If you are past puberty, then the type of discharge you have depends on what part of your menstrual cycle you are in. Closer to ovulation it's thinner and clearer, etc.

Also there is discharge when a female is aroused.

Discharge that isn't in excess or foul smelling or chunky is completely normal.

It could very well be lubrication that your body makes in preparation for sex. You may not be emotionally turned on, but your body is reacting to something. Your body will produce extra discharge in the middle of your cycle, when you're most fertile (if you don't use hormonal birth control), to encourage and facilitate sex.
